Splinter cell interested me a lot as well as dead rising. I thought fable 2 was boring. Thanks for the arcade games though i'm probably going to get most of the ones you listed

That's completely out of order from Sony, I thought they gave 3 months warranty the b*st*rds! Don't blame your mate at all.
OT: From games I've played on the 360 recently definitely Alan Wake and Splinter Cell
Mass Effect 1 and 2 obviously.
Alan Wake is a very good game with a fantastic story.
Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey and Tales of Vesperia for JRPGs (In that order IMO)
Crackdown for endless fun
Call of Duty 2 is a bit old now, but still a very good singleplayer FPS.
Ninja Blade is a good action game
Get a play & charge kit. Other than that I don't think you need any more accessories
Definitely get Deadly Premonition as well as Too Human.
I'd also recommend you try the demo of Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts and see if it's your cup of tea. I still contend that game is not nearly as bad as people make it out to be, though the use of the Havok physics engine is, quite frankly, dumb.

Get Alan Wake, if I had an Xbox i'd definitely get that!

Very underrated Action WRPG at its finest.
Alan wake was pretty good and it had an amazing DLC episode come out last week. Another one on the way...
Otherwise you may also want to check out Halo REach which is coming out in a month. It should last you a looong time with all the gaming possibility.
