I would like a SRPG to play on my DS once I finish Dragon Quest IX. I'm looking at FFT: A2, Disgaea DS, SMT: Devil Survivor (thanks maxxpower), and Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. All of them are about the same price, but I'm wondering if anybody can share their thoughts about which of these they prefer and stuff like game length and pros and cons. Even if you've only played one, you'll still help me a lot. I'm just wondering what the major differences between these games are so I can figure out what I think I'll like.

SMT: Devil Survivor, without a doubt, since it actually has a nice combination of tactics from SPRG standpoint, and awesome battle from a turn based standpoint.

What model DS do you have? I know it's a GBA game, but I would recommend "Fire Emblem" before any of those titles (though I admit I haven't played most)

I recommend it whole-heartedly. Good, fun, hard game with very nice infusions of tactical elements.

SMT: Devil Survivor.. but take a look at Knights in the Nightmare.. horrible 1 hour tutorial in de beginning but it's a gem a lot of people missed..

Out of those, I have only played FF Tactics A2, and that is very good, an improvement on the original and is IMO the best FF Tactics game
