I might be mistaken, but did the 360 get a bump in sales in Japan from last week?  I expected it to go down slightly, not up...Interesting.

Those 360 numbers are pretty amazing.

I think he really meant the gap between the two is increasing, at a decreasing rate...

I was referring to the weekly sales gap :) Let me put it in simpler terms for ya, Wii isn't outselling it's counterparts as much as it used to..get it?

It is truly amazing how far the Wii has fallen in the past few months, if anyone had said that it would do weekly numbers in the 150-170k range six months ago, they'd have been the laughing stock of the entire site for sure.

DS keeps on selling well in Japan, it must have an absolutely insane installed base there by now. PS3 doing ok for summer lull, PSP is pitiful and the 360 is fantastic ww this week.

Looks like we might see another Wii price cut this year. It's starting to sell less each week compared to last year when it was still $250. And with Kinect and Move coming. Anyone agree?

The standalone wii should be $150.  The wii bundle with wii sports and sport sreosrt is $199, maybe Nintenodo will bundle wii party with it and keep the price at $199, and maybe announce new colours. How about bundle wii vitality sensor with wii relax with the currnet bundle too for $199. Wii vitality sensor and wii relax alone for $39.99 should be a hit.

Nintendo needs to release Wii in different colors or just make a slim version to sell a lot more units.

Also the X360 had the lowest number of SW sold, that should mean that people buying the new 360 must be owners of the fat one...
