yes I do, but not only software ! Got my PS3 and a lot of accessories from the UK too.

The funny thing is, when I came to Vgchartz nearly three years ago (became a member, that is) I really cared about the console wars (wanting the PS3 to reign supreme since it was/was going to be such a great console, I was wrong and it is a pale shade of the PS2 imo) but now it means basically nothing as my PC is my go to platform for this generation. I like to think it makes me a better member and poster. And smarter. And more handsome.

I think you're being the exception of the rule here

Well done M$. 2010 is clearly M$ year now. With Reach and Kinect plus a brand new Arcade 360s on the way for October the rest of the year will definately be 360 on top. The wii may get the odd week like last week, but this year is 360 > both PS3 and Wii WW sales for the entire year. ( Obviously I dont mean Wii PS3 together )

... But that penalty inflicted to Lewis too late to really affect his race was FISHY!!!   

That was wierd. But I'm sure Lewis had nothing to do with it. 

LOL at Alonso though. Leiws slowed as soon as the SC light came on at the side of the track. You only have to view the cockpit part of that race with lewis to see. There is no way Lewis could see the end of the pitlane and know the safety car hadn't entered the track already. He was simply following the rules regarding speed when that light came on.

As for the overtake safety car. It was so close it clearly wasn't intentional.

I feel bad for Alonso right now, he is a great driver. But getting worked up over innocent mistakes is silly. However I agree the time taking to issue the penalty definately helped Lewis.

The results on 22nd won't be that great. The Xbox 360 slim cost a lot of money to distribute. Sony had the same stuff with the PS3 slim. They said that the distribution cost a lot of money. And of course the fisal year MS is reporting ends 30th June. So no Xbox 360 Slim stuff from Europe. Of course the fail of the Kin will ruin the numbers as well.

There was only one first party game released for the Xbox 360 and that was Alan Wake with undeserved low sales. Software sales. Other than that we had Splinter Cell Conviction and RDR on the software side.

I don't even expect great shipments of new consoles. Of course hell will break lose, because people will fail to understand that there were a VERY limited amount of consoles shipped right before the Slim launch.

SO this Q4 will be quiet. Q1 2011 will be pretty big with hardware shipments (Slim release) and software wise (Halo Reach). Q2 2011 will be HUGE software and hardware wise (CoD Black Ops, Fable III, Kinect Sports, Dance Central) and hardware wise (Kinect, holiday boost).

OK so why does a 360 S cost more to distribute vs a 360 Elite?  If the consoles shipped in June then they will be included in the results.  Certainly the July 16th Europe sales were consoles shipped bu June 30th.

As for PS3 vs 360 profits. Please the 360 has been selling at a profit for 3 years now.  Since the November 2005 release the 2 main SKUs (with and without HDD) have dropped a total of $100 each (not counting when SKUs are cleared with a price break).  The PS3 has dropped $300 and that is why the 360 has sold for a profit for the past 3 years and the PS3 is just now selling for a small profit. 

As for 360 S R&D. Those costs will not show up in the 4th qtr report this Thursday. The R&D costs have certainly been absorbed over the last couple of years.  We have known for awhile that a combine CPU/GPU has been in process for a couple of years.  Its not like in March the 360 team said hey lets put togther a smaller, quieter, cooler 360 and lets get it done for summer release. 

So what do you expect for Q4 EDD profit?

I say about 200 million - 250 million.

Sorry guys I shouldve payed attention, yeah they destroyed the UK and still sold well in the rest of europe so I apologize for the misunderstanding.  Cant wait to see what the full weeks numbers are, and when does the 360 slim release in japan?

And ftr, its kind of refreshing to see a huge number of microsoft supporters for a change, for a while I thought this was a website paid for by sony lol.  Dont get me wrong, I love my ps3 but I support my xbox just as much.

To be honest when the ps3 slim came out, I mainly upgraded because I like the slimmed down look, well that and my old one was getting hot enough to cook my breakfast, but mainly for the new look.  Probably when my tax returns come in next year Ill sell my current 360 (I have to wait anyways because I just recently replaced my launch 360 not knowing when the slim would be out, and you can only transfer your content once a year or something like that) and pick up a new one just because it looks sweet, but also the added wifi which is a pretty big deal so now I dont have to purchase that ridiculously priced $100 network adapter and it has a bigger hard drive so I can start downloading more games on demand and get rid of my discs cuz with the movies and games I have on my current one my 120 is just about full.
