I really enjoy this game so far...The cinematics are great...the pacing is different from metroid prime serie but it's a good return to metrois roots. I would still prefer to have the option to move when it FP view but I'll get use to it.

My order finally shipped from Amazon. I bet it won't get here until after Labor Day.

Genetically modified Space Pirates?
Though it really shouldn't be a surprise, as there were Space Pirates in the BSL Station as well, so we knew from Fusion that the Federation was doing research on Pirates.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
Man I really love this game, great controls, story is pretty epic at times, I have to say the opening is the roughest part, but after the first few minutes I really got into it.
Beat it about an hour ago, some really excellent boss fights, I like the difficulty its not brutal by any means but I died more in Other M than I have in any other Metroid game. Exploration was fun and it at least gives you sort of hints to find items, after you beat it, it lays out everything and you go "how do you get there?" or "how did they expect you to notice that?" just really cool.
Now it's time to find those 30 odd missiles I missed and some energy tanks I passed.
MaxwellGT2000 - "Does the amount of times you beat it count towards how hardcore you are?"

It feels a little clunky and slow atm, But it's getting better as i get into it. I just hope they stop holding your hand as much later on and make it more open.
I'm kinda torn between buying this game, and... Well, not buying this game.
Pros:
-I'm a pretty big Metroid fan. (In fact, I prefer it to Zelda.)
-The combat does look interesting.
-The music.
Cons:
-Based on what I've heard, it's awfully linear.
-It's shorter than the Prime games.
-I hate the writing with a burning passion.
-I have to listen to that shit for over two hours.
So, whaddaya say? Should I give it a shot?
I can answer your question, Ninpanda, but it's a spoiler
A spoiler involving Metroids
Im enjoying the game, i like the controls although i would prefer to use the nubchuk aswell, im loving the exploration and finding my way out of certain areas, when i complete it def gonna have another play through, them im going to look at getting my hands on the Trilogy

| KylieDog said: After playing further into it I have to conclude the opening voice acting is far worse than the rest of the game.
The marines VAs are decent and Samus delivers some OK VA, she does have some really bad robotic moments her and there still though. |
Overall the voices are still pretty bad - Adam and Anthony are the only ones who never struck me as actively low-quality at any point.
The average review for Other M is 79.
