Ahh weezy.

This may be because I've been out of the loop for a week or so, but I would like to see a source on this for starters.

Secondly

*travels back in time*

A PSP with "just below" PS2  graphics.

2D?

Bigger Screen?

Quality speakers?

More powerful graphic card ?

Better online connectivity

=

Is this a DS killer?

You will never understand why certain consoles sell and others don't, I'm sorry to say

Spot on, no matter what the PSP does, it has to be completley innovotive, fresh and original to ever stand a chance of being top dog, improving on current models just doesn't cut it.

Coming from Sony...I doubt it.

Sorry for bad English.

Why everyone want to kill stuff?

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

It needs all that, plus:

3G connectivity

Dual analogs

1080p screen

Capacitive touch screen

Motion sensors

8 cameras

Gigantic cup holders

Two bubble domes

Nah, everybody knew DS has a laughable graphic processor by the time of launching together with power house PSP, and yet it became the best selling hand held ever and looks to over take PS2 as the best selling game machine ever.

Nintendo do know their stuff when it come to making popular games software and hardware, Sony still has lots to learn. And as a Sony fan and PSP owner, I sincerely hope Sony would not release garbage like Go that nobody wants.

Reads OP and then takes another look at the MASSIVE games listing for the 3DS.

Doesn't matter what Sony does at this point, Nintendo has already won the next gen. Plus, I seriously doubt the next PSP will be a primary games device. Sony is probably going for a super smart phone with strong games capabilities running on Android.

The PSP2 is already losing before it even releases. Chances are it will be a Sony Gamecube going up against a Nintendo PS2.

Until sony has a remake of Zelda:OOT or Star Fox I can safely say tNintendp will dominate

.....has this gen taught you nothing?

I believe Nintendo did not release info  on the original DS before Sony announced  the PSP.

This time around:

Sony knows exactly what 3DS is all about.

I am just saying  Sony possibly could come out with a bigger badder version of 3DS

No Sony doesn't know what the 3DS is about: they know games, 3D, motion sensors and double screen. Stop. The design is not defined, the online is not defined, the techinical capabilities are unknown (just the name of the GPU is known), the multimedia aspect is unknown...Yes Sony could come up with something better hardware wise: will it be enough? They won't have Mario Kart, Nintendogs, Zelda OoT and many games which will be at least timed exclusives. This are the main reasons why the 3DS can't be killed. Plus this time there also technical power, so we'll see a lot of effort from 3rd parties, unlike the Wii.

PSP2 can be a moderate sucess, but won't kill the 3DS, that's sure. Maybe just if it comes out in 2013 with something spectacular like olograms or something like that...

CURRENTLY PLAYING: Xenoblade (Wii), Super mario 3D land (3DS), Guild Wars (PC)
