I went for 3.

If it was called Halo 4, then i would have gone 4 - 5.

I find it hard to believe that one million people would be that stupid.

Not a surprise ^^

What isn't?

@William Watts

ODST and even Wars are proof that a Halo that isn't numbered doesn't sell as well as a numbered Halo. Maybe Reach will break that trend... Who knows.

4.5m

oh wait that is not an option....

You hopefully know how flawed that argument ist.

Wars, yes. ODST, no.

What were the preorders for Halo3 ten weeks before launch?

I say 4.5 mio first week.

Halo 3 had almost 4 million first week and ODST around 2-3 million.

I'd say maybe 4-5 million for this one. 6 plus is just crazy, I doubt it would do that.

Yeah, what I find most crazy is looking back and seeing nearly a 3rd of the userbase buy Halo 3 first week, if those people buy it, and a couple more million from the 30 million new buyers since then, 6 mill.

I think 5.2, but my range is 4.7 - 5.2

thats because the only reason people were buying the 360 was to play halo 3 :P

Let's just say because it has the same multiplayer as Halo 3 except for 1 extra mode and one mappack and it had a short campaign without any Spartans.

It was meant to be an expansion and then after adding more content it was made into a standalone game.

Still worlds apart from a new Halo release.
