ODST and even Wars are proof that a Halo that isn't numbered doesn't sell as well as a numbered Halo. Maybe Reach will break that trend... Who knows.

You hopefully know how flawed that argument ist.

Let's just say because it has the same multiplayer as Halo 3 except for 1 extra mode and one mappack and it had a short campaign without any Spartans.

It was meant to be an expansion and then after adding more content it was made into a standalone game.

Still worlds apart from a new Halo release.
