Ye or Nay?

I played the Jp demo ages ago and didn't think much of it, just wondering if anyone played the full game and what they thought of it.

I enjoyed the game quite a bit, a very cool battle system once you get into it and a story that was pretty funny at points.

I say yeah.

This game reminds me a lot of Demon's Souls if Demon's Souls was a JRPG.

By that, I mean the challenge, mood, atmosphere, and story. The game is great, and very underrated. Were it an exclusive it would be hyped to hell and called the best JRPG this generation. I give it an 8.5/10, Vesperia is far superior, but it's definitely better than most of the stuff out there.

I personally didn't like it, never really gave it a fair shot I guess, only played like 3 hours or so, if an RPG doesn't grab me within 3 hours it gets shelved, and yes, that includes Valkyria as well..  Below is the list of all the RPG's that I bought this gen for 360 and PS3 (Not including Wii - that's another story) and if I finished them or got bored and shelved them

Now I haven't played other games like Blue Dragon but I think I have bought pretty much every RPG this gen for these systems, you can see I'm slightly picky

Shelved ToV, VC and Folklore but finished WKC and UI?

I bought RoF on release day, but I've only played like 1 hour of it >.< Too many games to play.

ToV I found too hard, maybe I didn't understand the battle system :P  I'm not a big fan of FF tactics either, bought that played it for a bit and shelved it, I knew I wasn't going to like VC but everyone here said it's the best RPG ever.. so.. yeah

And Folklore, the same thing, the battle system, didn't like it so much...

I know weird eh, everyone says WKC and UI are bad, both had TERRIBLE voice acting IMO, but I don't know, something just made them fun for me... well for WKC it was the hype I think I built up for the game over 2 years waiting for it :P  Same with FF13, it was a good game, don't get me wrong, but it wasn't an awesome game that I have come to expect from SE

Oh, and that may be why I didn't finish ToV and VC as well, I had bought a shit-ton of games around the time I got both those games as well... Hmm, same as RoF.. I may try them again and I may love them, still trying to catch up on games..
