Forums - Sony - Sony: Nintendo Shouldn't Bash 3D Glasses

Oh, want or need I agree with you.  But the principle I was pointing out was just because I don't need/want something is no excuse to channel my hatred towards something to dismiss it such as Squilliam and Kowenicki are trying to do.  These guys have displayed over and over again that they hate SONY more than they love gaming.  So if it's SONY related, they are going to find some excuse for the rest of us to dismiss it just because "they don't want it" so it applies to the rest of us.

If I hated Sony then why did I buy a 60GB PS3 and why did I spend over $5000 USD on a 53" Bravia when they were bleeding edge technology? Why did I spend over $7,000 U.S.D. in the past 5 years on Sony products? I don't hate Sony, but I do dislike the people who blindly support Sony and get their heckles up everytime something remotely negative comes up about them and contrive various scenarios to make themselves feel better, like for instance 'Best selling 3rd place console'.

now that i can understand

I was calling Nintendo's bashing of glasses arrogant.

Oh, I see.

But why would it be arrogant? Agressive maybe, but arrogant?

Because people like wearing glasses.

They don't have the right to bash it, just because they think there version is better. They are being arrogant.

People like wearing the glasses for 3D?

Come on. You can do better than that.

Okay guys the main reason people dont like wearing 3d galsses is because it makes you look goofy right? Well we all have to admit playing the wii or any motion device makes you look goofy as well. Im just saying if people are willing to use an imaginary steering wheel then they can wear 3d glasses too without a problem.

if you think that holding an analog controller and using another pointing device similiar to a mouse that everyone and their mother has used for years on a pc and then making motions with it is any less cool than holding a controller in your hand and playing with two little nubs (analog sticks) and making facial contortions while wearing 3d glasses in front of other people...then your delusional.  Everyone drives a car, but not everyone likes wearing glasses while they are doing it.

Cheers, sleepless friends, and now our buddy Sony asks us to dedicate this song to his beloved Ninty and asks us to tell her he's so sorry, he loves her and will she ever forgive him?

Firstly. Explain how Avatar is the highest grossing movie ever.

Secondly. Glasses 3D is currently the only way (as far as i know) that people can watch 3D stuff at the pictures or at home. If nobody liked wearing the glasses, we wouldn't be having a big 3D craze right now. Would we?

Didn't cinema operators drug the public to make them not notice they were putting glasses on their noses?

Wow.. Sony said this? SONY?? The same company that bashed Nintendo's motion controls mericlessly, then goes on to make their own motion controls and act like THEY came up with them, not once but TWICE (Sixaxis and Move)? Oh Sony, when will you learn?

If they can dish it out, they gotta learn to take it.

$15 tickets, and insanely dedicated fans. When I saw it there was a guy on a first date who was bragging that this was the 8th time he saw it; and I thought "Wow, you think that impresses her?" ... On top of that the hype of Avatar probably brought a lot of people to the theater, which hasn't seemed to translate to success of other 3D movies.

Firstly. Its made by the guy who made the previous highst grossing movie ever.

Secondly. We're having a 3D craze at theatres, not at home. The cost of entry difference is quite staggeringly different. It costs an extra $2 per person or so for 3D whereas at home it costs an entirely new high end TV and a pair of $150 active shutter glasses beyond the first two.

Tease.
