As pointed out, you are not comparing apples with apples. Just because one store broke the street date, that is why. There is no way we can make a 1:1 comparison so let's just say both did very well.

You fail to mention that the 360 also had a price cut in North America this week.  

North America is also 360's strongest market. Don't expect the same response from Europe or Japan. 

The boost is mainly from the price cut rather than the new model at the same price as the Elite was last week. 

Why did you never buy a Wii if you were such a family man? You must be a joke account because, to quote John McEnroe, "You cannot be serious!".

Well, yea.  The original models were selling along with the Slims.  I would imagine more so for the 360, since PS3 had a whole week of discounted original models selling before the launch to clear out stock.  But, for the 360 it was all lumped together into one week.  But, either way, it would be too hard to differentiate which sales are which, so it's just easier to add them together.

Actually it seems Selnor wants to count the week that a few stores broke the street date as the launch because it makes the 360 Slims launch seem bigger.  But, it actually makes it look worse.  I mean you had a week of the PS3's old model plus street date broken Slims selling at $299, and yet the PS3 was still able to sell over 160K the following week (the Slims real launch).  In one of its weakest regions, to boot.

PS3  Slim sold 0.5m units week one WW. I do not think 360S will be able to beat it.
