Forums - Microsoft - I dunno about you, but I think Kevin Butler is right.

I understand it's not for everyone!

You can always pick up a REAL steering wheel if you have one handy and let Kinect scan that in for you :0P

"I don't think I can really play games without anything to hold or pressing a button. I would feel like an idiot pretending to turn the wheel of a nonexistent thing in my hand. I feel like it would be, as Kevin Butler said, like third grade *pew pew pew*."

Looks like here we've got a 3rd grader.....

The reason i will get kinect day 1 is not because of the games but because of the other functions, such as video chat, voice recognition and hands free menu surfing!

Same here

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

I was wondering what happened to the whole object "scanning" feature that was bulleted last year with the skateboard simulation.

The skateboarding example they chose in particular was amusing because Tony Hawk came on stage not long after to  hype the amazing motion control skateboard peripheral that now seemed redundant.

But there are a lot of potential uses for it if it works. It seems like there could be some potential hitches like when a scanned object obscures a part of the player or alters the player silhouette, but that was part of the problem solving process when Natal was being developed, which may have been worked out.

It seems like this would be more of a core gamer thing, which was not really covered at the E3 conference, so maybe we'll see more about this in the near future, or maybe it will just end up being dropped in the end.

Exactly the same reason they didn't show off milo and kate, combo games and core Kinect titles. They wanted this 100% controller free presentation.

Kevin Butler is one of the reason why every every PS3 owner is very happy in life.

LED lights are the future not just buttons.

Will the PS3 be the first and most successful multi-million selling piracy & hack-free console of all time?

Sony is simply awesome. They even troll themselves when it opens the possibility to trash talk their competition. Or am I the only one remembering the Eyetoy?

You are, actually, since Kinect is the most revolutionary and innovative control system in history.

It's like Sony and Nintendo fans can't play without a controller, but MS fans can lol.

I would say the 3D glasses looks much more stupid than everything else.

well I agree, but microsoft certainly doesn't

Oh, but he should be worried.

Also. As a Sony, MSFT, and even Ninty fan for the most part. I need to have buttons. I also would feel like an idiot without them.
