I just posted the video in the official ps move thread:):)
On topic: do we really have to argue about what is best really, yes zelda is using the same formula with cartoony graphics, but seriously that does not mean zelda is bad, yes some off the features was not as impressive, but i am betting that when zelda comes out it will be still a masterpiece.
As for sorcery I was very impressed and it was more than wrist flicking, and it did have menu's to choose spells (saw someone who accused of it not having menu's), and the 1:1 features looked very good, i loved the spells and the environments despite the fact it does not look like a ps3 HD game, drinking a poition is excellent as the ps move changes colour, if you ask me the game has a lot of charm and i could tell we was getting a spellcasting game for ages, just look at the ps move advert it clearly shows a girl waving her wand hinting at a spell game, this is it and I can't wait to play on it.
Right now I will not say which is better until I get hands on both!!!
As for fans who siad nsmb wii was better than LBP, just because it's from ninty and you love them does not automatically mean it's better, and visa versa, but you got to admit the play-create-share gives LBP a huge 1up over nsmb wii.
it's the future of handheld

Even though it'll neven happen, I'd like to see Sackboy and Mario in a game together.

oh. ok. well anyeays the Sorcery game looks fun I will admit that.
NINTENDO
nintendo forever . . .
i am quite happy sony it's trying at least, the game got potential, i hope they add a better story, and the character design it's too american.
but sony it's at least trying something different, nintedo will be doing mario until the end of time.
No. I highly doubt it.
The controls look to be solid, but it just wont match Zelda...
Demon's Souls 2, on the other hand...
seriously? comparing zelda and sorcery?!!!
i thought the sorcery demo was bad. i felt embarrassed watching it, quite honestly...

Have no clue how this can't work on Wii. Looked cool and good, but just as any other motion system, including wii, you can see this guy swinging his arm around and still see a lag in the gameplay. I see it as no better or no worse than wii motion plus. But the graphics being HD don't appear to be better than a Wii is capable. It looked really cool. I wish more studios would publish for all 3 systems though instead of being bought out by indiivdual console makers. The game that got me totally excited for Sony conference was the finale……Twisted Metal. That just looked terrific.
As for the OP question…Zelda killer NOT AT ALL. Harry Potter killer……maybe.
Consoles owned: NES, N64, PS1, GC, PS2, Wii.

I played neither nor could I care less about either of them ... but come on nord! are people not allowed to believe what they want anymore? |
sure, you can believe what you want, but it doesn't mean you are right. I'm not arguing the overall quality of the games. (even though I give the nod to NSMBWii due to actually being great at it's main mechanic and not having the dedication for a level editor)
Just like Braid is an ok at best platformer and a phenominal puzzle game, LBP is a good platformer (lack of badguys, no complex jumping due to floaty physics) and it is an extremely wonderful level editor. NSMBWii is an awesome platformer, better than either Galaxy game. Despite the fact that the reviewers are stuck in the 3D world 2D-platforming will always be superior.
This is sorta like saying that Mario Sunshine is a better shooter than CoD. The platforming is great (even though some were turned off by the shooting), but that doesn't make it a better shooter than CoD.
Where does it say Zelda is using the same formula? They have a 10 minute demo at E3. That is nothing compared to what will be in a full Zelda title. Don't automatically dismiss it as same old Zelda because Link is there and there happens to be swords/bow/bombs. The truth of what this Zelda game is like is only going to be known much closer to release next year. The argument that the last 5 Zelda games (including one we have seen TEN MINUTES of) are carbon copies is absurd. Ocarina and Twilight were very similar, I grant you that. But Majora's Mask was a massive structural departure with only four main dungeons and an emphasis on story and character driven side quests-not to mention the 3 day cycle mechanic. And it is far too soon to judge Skyward Sword.
The on stage demo was poor but hands on impressions have been very good so far. We ain't seen nothing yet.
