Where does it say Zelda is using the same formula? They have a 10 minute demo at E3. That is nothing compared to what will be in a full Zelda title. Don't automatically dismiss it as same old Zelda because Link is there and there happens to be swords/bow/bombs. The truth of what this Zelda game is like is only going to be known much closer to release next year. The argument that the last 5 Zelda games (including one we have seen TEN MINUTES of) are carbon copies is absurd. Ocarina and Twilight were very similar, I grant you that. But Majora's Mask was a massive structural departure with only four main dungeons and an emphasis on story and character driven side quests-not to mention the 3 day cycle mechanic. And it is far too soon to judge Skyward Sword.
The on stage demo was poor but hands on impressions have been very good so far. We ain't seen nothing yet.
