Just recieved an email with something special...

"Peripheral maker PDP has just announced the upcoming release of the Wii’s first licensed online chat headset.

The headset will be compatible with select titles, one of the first will be High Voltage Software’s Conduit 2, releasing this fall. PDP will show off the new headset this week at their E3 booth.

"By incorporating the new Wii compatible headset into Conduit 2, we are able to immerse gamers into the action like never before,” said Eric Nofsinger, Creative Office at High Voltage. "The microphone allows for crystal-clear communication to your Conduit 2 friends and foes alike.”

This is something a-lot of members have been waiting for, and it couldnt come at a better time!

Heres a picture of it:

Unless it is packed in with the game, not enough people are going to own one for it to be worth a purchase.

USB and not wireless? I don't expect a lot of enthusiasm.

Well im definately gonna get it along with 4 of my friends ... wonder if this works with MH3. I remember reading on a forum that the menu had an option for headphone volume so maybe capcom knew this was coming added support. This was when i was considering wii speak for MH3 and Conduit 2 ... Thank god this came along.

In my opinion Twilight Princess is better than Ocarina of t... * gets shot *

I didn't even think about that.  How long is that cord going to have to be?

I didn't even notice the white wire :|

Oh dear...

Oh, I saw this, and it sounds cool. Maybe I can use this instead of buying Wii Speak.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

any info on the conduit 2? HVS is at e3 with a booth right? I havent heard anything from them..

People don't even use WiiSpeak.  Nintendo needs to fix its voice chat system next generation.

From what I understood, the problem with Wiispeak and MH3 is solved if all sides turn off (or lower down considerably) the game music and SFX. This is because of the way WiiSpeak is built to capture sound. This problem shouldn't exist with such a headset whose mic probably functions differently, but the question is whether MH3 can support it.
