Don't blame sony because you can't afford a 3dtv and over half the people in the forums.. Including me !

The only company that can sell a gimmick as well as Nintendo, is Apple. Watch for Apple to have something in the 3D market sooner rather than later.

Again, I don't think "afford" is the appropriate word. Most adults could easily afford one, but they just aren't really worth owning at this point in time, for gaming. First, you need a plasma if it's gonna be worth a damn, so you have to deal with phosphor trailing. Next, it's much more expensive, than many others TVs with inherantly better PQ, and finally, there really aren't any games that impliment it well enough to justify the expense. On top of it all, the technology is currently pretty lame. You have to wear these glasses, and it kinda sucks bro. :P

Sony's business methods leave my scratching my head. I think it's clear that Sony needs to do more to reach the mass market in terms of gaming, and yet, they are just moving further UPmarket with 3D, requiring people to spend ungoldly amounts of money just to experience it. Something like this is not going to sell more PS3s...

I've never liked Sony as a company. Sure, I like their consoles, but I hate supporting Sony. They're just dicks in general.

Point is its optional. Sony is still gonna make regular games, 3D is just an experiment.
