I stop playing after getting pissed off and then come back and nail it a few hours or days later.

I often try a new strategy and then convince myself that my strategy is right, then try for a few hours and give up

Then I'll come back to the game a few days later and do it first time

It's pretty accurate.  I've never thrown a controller, though.  Instead, I talk to the console:

"Are you happy, Nintendo!?!  Is this what you want?  You enjoy watching my PAIN!!  Well guess what!  I WANTED to lose!!!  You fool.  YOU GAVE ME EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED!!"

And then, when I beat the stage/boss/puzzle, I tell the console that I was lying and that it fell for my trick.

yeah  Megaman x3 sigma last form had me goin crazy then I went to eat somethin and beat it easy

and Megaman x5 get the energy balls on the squid adler stage

but the most frustratin are most of the king of fighters or neo geo battle coliseum bosses

I do the same thing, except to my PC:

"Come on you piece of shit! I knew I should have gotten an Intel Processor! You make me lose one more time and I'm gonna go buy an ATI card! Don't make me reboot you! I WILL REBOOT YOU!!

YOU WANT A VIRUS!!! OK!!! LET'S DOWNLOAD AS MUCH PORN AS WE CAN FIND UNTIL YOU GET A VIRUS!!!!"

This would explain why my hard-drive has crashed... three times. :(

I have smashed a keyboard though, it was practically broken anyway, and that's why I was getting mad in the first place.

It really depends of the game, but I start with red, then orange for a while and... if I still can't success, then I go green 'till the net day because I'D BE REALLY PISSED OFF!
