@erikers: Closer to 30k. Most of the sales for a first week is due to first day sales.

@Louie: Where do you see this big amount of 360 sales? 20k for AC? Are you joking?

kamil - it just depends on who's buying the game.

For a X360 game, I'd say 35,000-40,000 is most likely. Could be as low as 30k. It just depends, as Ace Combat 6 had first day sales of 35k, but still hit over 75k according to MC.

That's really not consistently the case at all. I know how first day sales work. Some games more than double their first day sales, some don't. Thanks for responding though.

@mrstickball: We'll see. In my opinion most of the X360 games have good first day sales compared to first week. Maybe AC6 had some legs but for example Halo 3 sold 45k first day and only 61k in first week and I think that most X360 games sales pattern are closer to Halo 3 than AC6.
Your numbers (35-40k) are of course possible but 50k is way to high prediction.
