Yeah, but you should play 1, it is an amazing game, my favorite WRPG, amazing atmosphere, plot and gameplay.

Is it like oblivion or KOTOR? (the only WRPG's I like lol)


The game is actually quite linear, not open world like Oblivion, but you can choose how to play through the game (shoot, stealth, hacking, what kind of weapons you specialize in), from the gameplay prespective I think that it is similar to Oblivion (first person, you only play as yourself - no party).

And the plot is leagues above KotOR's

Good and I'm sure you know I don't mind linear games {hint hint wink wink}

Sounds like a must buy....I think I'll be using stealth, can your crawl like snake?

Although....  Speaking of retro. I know u like Age of Empires II (from 1999... you must have been like 5 when it came out lol). How old were u when u was introduced to AoE II? What I mean is, how on earth could a youngster like u manage to get into an old game like AoE II and not be put off by the dated graphics.

lolol I was 8 or 9 (And I was born in 92 so it came out when I was 7) at the time slimebeast, all I did in my summer holidays was play AOE II back then, I betrayed allies & took kingdoms. It was really really fun.

And at the time its graphics seemed AMAZING to me believe it or not.

I don't mind old games, my top 5 games of this gen include the Dragon Quest 5 & Final Fantasy 4 Remakes on Nintendo DS....old graphics don't matter as long as the story is compelling, characters are likeable & the gameplay is fun.

I know yes but some genres are so dependant on decent graphics and modern design/interface that it simply is hard to get into old games in those genres. Some genres are almost timess, SHMUPS, platforms, adventure and a few more.  

So you were introduced to it when it was still very fresh (AoE II). That explains it. But now a second thought comes up. As a 9 year old, how were u freakin able to play such an advanced game as AoE lol? You a wonderboy or something?

Totally amazing! DE1 is tied with KOTOR for my favorite WRPG, and this trailer looks like they're on the right path to live up to it... at least in some ways.
