alot of things happend to me because of israel .. as a palestinian that dont have passport i cant enter any country except syria ( which gave me palestinian/ syrian documents so i can travel to some limited countries ) but i cant enter israel !!? and now here in UAE i stuck with my job because iam palestenian which have documents and not passport so the new country rules tell that people with documents cant work here anymore except for the people that already working but you cant change your job !? my uncle found a new job and when he want to transfer his visa they didnt allow him and canceled his visa. and for my cousin ( which he have a palestinian passport ) he didnt see his wife because he stuck for 2 weeks in the borders with other paleastenians between egypt and israel and then they told them that they cant enter gaza .. so thank you israel for ruining my life and my family life.

Don't forget to thank Hamas for killing enough Israelis so that the Israeli government has to do stuff like that.

The Israli government doesn't HAVE to do this, they CHOSE to do this. Don't try to spin Israel's bullshit into something positive.

That depends on how you define "had to", for example, if your citizens die every day from terroist attacks, mothers are so afraid that they send their kids to school in different buses, pepole were afraid to leave their houses, go to work, and live normal life... I think that an country that wouldn't blockade the area from which the terrorist threat comes would've just imploded.

Dont try it, trust me, he would even blame israel if Iran starts war with the USA.

Remember, everything is Israels fault, the terrorists (hamas) are friendly people that just want to end the life of the people in israel and the people on the board were "peace activists" (TM)

A catchy quote, but I've never put much stock in it. There hasn't been a society in recorded history that hasn't traded some measure of liberty for some measure of security. Trading liberty for security is pretty much what the social contract is all about. Far more important is whether or not you're getting a good deal.

Did you read the text in that article?  If tying a kid to a cop car makes me afraid the kid will get stoned to death by cop-hating fanatics, I'm not sure how much of that you can blame on the cops.

Not that I approve -- quite the opposite.  And if you'd read the article you can see that the Israelis didn't approve either.  A rabbi was planning to sue the cops.

So where in that article does it say he was executed?

I guess the better word would be murdered, while an illegal act was being committed. Correct me if I am wrong, but murder during a home invasion gets you in some serious shit in the US.

I also want to know why armed commandos were sent in instead of riot police with rubber bullets, batons, and riot shields. It's kind of embarassing seeing commandos get their asses kicked by a lowly civilian mob, and the riot police would have also been perfectly capable in handling the situation with far less "shit hitting the fan."

..So when was the last time you saw riot police being deployed to a boat?

I dunno, when was the last time someone had to board a boat of unarmed rioters?

1947 for one when a floatilla of Jews was invaded.

Before they reached Palestine actually.  They were invaded with force immediatly and killed a  bunch of Jews... but you know... actually and for real.

Israel DID invade with Riot police first... only armed with paintball guns.  The regularly armed people came second.

Fairly certain this isn't even the first time Israel has done this either.  Only news because the people on board decided to mob.

Good to see that we agree that there is no real difference between the "terrorists" back then and the Isralis now.

As for the whole thing as to who came when, I'd need somoe support for that. It's really kind of sad that in the 21st cnetury, people still kill unarmed rioters.

The British were terrorists back then?  I guess you thought Palestinians did it... but Palestine was never a country.

The Floatilla was landed on by the British... shortly after WW2 as a bunch of holocaust survivors tried to migrate back to the Holy Land.

The British, back then not wanting Jews in Palestine anymore... took over the boat and people were killed.

Amusingly the British then decided the best place to store these Holocaust survivors was infact... camps... IN GERMANY.

And yes... this was done in British Waters.  It's pretty much an EXACT mirroring of what happened now.  Hence why it was probably planned by some to happen this way.

Ironically the incident is seen as what kickstarted the British supporting the creation of Israel.

I don't blame the British anymore then the Jewish though.  Well except for the sending them to German concentration camps for questioning.  I mean granted PTSD wasn't as well known then but come on.
