Forums - Nintendo - Subscribe to NINTENDO POWER for only 5 dollars deal ends Saturday at Amazon

Click Here for to go to Amazon to subscribe to Nintendo Power for only 5 dollars. I think you have to be a resident of the United States or Canada. The offer ends Saturday, June 5, so go get your subscription now!!

I subscribe to Nintendo Power, and I love it very much. They give news, previews, and features for upcoming games. They give lots of reviews for Virtual Console games, WiiWare, and DSiWare; and they have a big review section where they give reviews on all of the popular games, as well as fun games that you might not know about, and it may inspire you to get the game.

Also, as an added bonus, if you subscribe, you get the subscribers edition of the magazine, which does not have all the words and information about the current volume, instead it is just the picture on the cover. For example, in the above picture, there are big red letters that say "GET Happy!" Well, if you subscribed, your issue would not have that, or any of the other info that blocks the beautiful cover art. Instead, if just has the cover art, and NINTENDO POWER at the top. I think it's nice not to have all those distractions, it lets me appreciate the cover art more.

Sometimes, subscribers get exclusive cover art for the magazines that the magazines at the newsstands don't have. I'm going to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity and renew my subscription, and I wanted to inform you all that if you haven't already subscribed, then this is a cheap and easy way to start.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Can't wait to find out more about Sonic Colors! It's going to be in the next issue (not that you'd recieve that issue if you subscribed now, because it takes 6-8 weeks to deliver)

Nintendo Power is a great magazine and I'd recommend it to any Nintendo fan out there (in North America. ).

I was a bit worried when it switched hands to Future, but the team has done a great job in making the transition seamless. Plus, there has been a lot of great exclusive announcements from them like Sonic & the Black Knight, Sonic Colors, Super Scribblenauts, Castelvania: Portrait of Ruin, Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia... and that's just off the top of my head.

I've been an NP subscriber since issue 116 (Cover page: Castlevania 64 ) and never looked back. ^_^

I completely agree.

I've been subscribing since issue 218, and the only thing I'm disappointed with is that they don't have the Most Wanted section, the Top Sellers section, the cool Mii section, or the Hand-Drawn and Computer-Drawn art anymore. Those are the things I miss the most. However, I am glad that NP is bringing back the Most Wanted section, as they advertised in issue 255 an online poll at www.nintendopower.com/polls. I'm really happy that they are bringing it back, even though I only saw those features for about 5 issues after I subscribed.

I don't know which issue I started with by number but the first issue I got was the one which had the GameCube demo disk bundled with it. I bought my first few issues retail before subscribing. I remember playing that disk again and again watching Smashbros:Melee footage I was floored. I too was worried when Nintendo sold the rights to Future and I actually stopped subscribing because it was a major pain for a Canadian subscriber (Couldn't pay with cheque or cash).

But after I got my credit card I subscribed again and too be honest Future has done a good job with running the magazine. Infact I think theirs more exclusive news in NP now then their was under Nintendo themselves. Seriously Nintendo never gave NP anything exclusive when they ran the show.

Either way for 5$ you'd be insaine not to subscribe!
