I would deffinatly bealive Sony on this one . I would say 1.6-1 , 1.7-1 is overall acurate ... and at a high pricetag that it has , plus a still not to strong software lineup ... call me impressed :)

this is all great and stuff but why isnt sony giving us numbers?

Heck for all we know it could be 1.99 to 1 and sonys "way off" could be that .01
we all know how sony likes to spin things

I have no doubt believing sony but they should actually release something its just becoming MS giving evidence (may be faulty) and sony going "nu uh"



                 With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

What some of you are forgetting(or I might be wrong) but when the NPD sale numbers come in it will show the sales for ALL of nov not just that one week so we all know that in no way did ms outsell the ps3 2-1 for all of Nov, so there be no way to show the exact numbers for that one week so sony be able to say see no 2-1 sales for nov when maybe for that one week they did. Im just saying that sony played it safe by saying wait for the NPD numbers thats all.

I really don't give a crap about black friday sales since its an american phenomenon, but I wish those MS and Sony PR chaps would stop taking a piss at each other every chance they get.

 Really? I've never searched for the info myself, I was not aware that its not common knowledge! But they have stated that it is akin to GC x2 or some such, right?

Yeah percentages are ridiculous. It would be like if next week Xbox 360 sold 30k in Japan and instead of just saying that they said. Increase of sales of 500%!!!!! 30k isn't that great, but 500% looks pretty nice.

the fact that sony doesn't offer any numbers means Microsoft is right. For all we know it being "wrong" could mean 360 is outselling it by more, or it could mean that it is outselling it 1.99:1 instead of 2:1. Saying to wait until NPD isn't going to prove anything because it includes 4 weeks not just black friday week.
