What Genre would you really like to see a new Microsoft IP in?

Platformer 41 30.83%

Action/Adventure 33 24.81%

RPG 44 33.08%

Sports title (Fitness included) 1 0.75%

MMO 9 6.77%

RTS 5 3.76%

Total:133

Personally, I'd love to see an epic new RPG IP with a great story. Preferably one a bit more "J" than Fable.

Barring that, it'd be great to get a kick-ass new Action/Adventure IP. I wouldn't be totally against a platformer either, especially if it were something on par with the brilliance of last-gen's best (IMO) platformer: Psychonauts.

I would like them to develop a new jrpg since its my favorite genre. But I feel like Lost Odyssey and Infinite Undiscovery are pretty solid titles.

They need to create a solid platformer though since it's the genre where they are the least competitive.

I rather them make a new Action/ adventure title.

It's time they make an RPG. WRPG.

Id really like to see them make an action/adventure game to compete with games like uncharted.

Platformer. Reading the reviews of Super Mario Galaxy 2 reminded me of 1) how much I LOVED the experience of the first game when a friend was out of town and I got to use his Wii and game and 2) how much I miss playing them regularly. As a multiplatform owner last gen, I never realized how spoiled we were with wonderful platformers ...

Action/Adventure would be 2nd. RPG shouldn't be on here because of Fable.

I chose platformer but I would also love to see a really good action/adventure game.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

Let's see:

FPS - Halo

TPS - Gears

RPG - Mass Effect, Fable // Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Infinite Undiscovery

Platformer - Banjo Kazooie, Kameo, Viva Pinata

RTS - Halo Wars

Action / Adventure - Splinter Cell Conviction, Ninja Blade (underrated!!!!), Ninety-Nine Nights, Crackdown

So I voted for Action / Adventure, because even though there are some exclusive games that are awesome, there is nothing on the Xbox 360 like a Shenmue or any other truely epic game. And I do love nice storys in videogames and platformer are not that great for telling deep storys.

I think Rare will come up with some nice Platformers though.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

MMO in a Fantasy or Sci Fi setting if it would work on 360 and not cost monthly. Make it included in Gold memberships and it could make them $. They could mini-transaction me for some weapons and armour. Won't happen though. Maybe next gen. I have no idea what servers cost.

DirtyP2002: Ninja Blade was fun, stylish and well-made. QTE's got annoying though. Never did get the straight A+ for missions. From your list AA could still use a quality IP. Lots of multis but few exclusives.
