EAD Tokyo should work on a Sunshine WiiVisited & a Galaxy 3DS.

The next Mario game released almost certainly will be New Super Mario Bros. 3DS.  Hopefully launch.

This. We have waited so long before we finally got the New Super Mario Bros. Wii, so I certainly feel 2D Mario fans are entitled to another 2D Mario game without having to wait for so long.

At least not so much: how many old Nintendoers starved to death before seeing it?

Well, we were all waiting for a 2D console Mario game since Super Mario World for SNES, which was nearly a twenty year wait. So what I'm saying is, I hope Nintendo doesn't take that long to make the next 2D console Mario game again, because seeing how well the New Super Mario Bros. Wii is doing, it would be rather silly not to make another one sooner. But nice joke by the way!

Yeah, VGCats make me giggle even at my own little gaming quirks. There are some with little self-irony that really hate it, though, and they are also pissed off if somebody finds it funny! 

As for myself, it's my second favoured web comic after UserFriendly.org (pity that Illiad has not updated it for a while, for darn serious and sad motives...)

I would be down for another 2D Mario.
