Actually doubt it. Microsoft already attempted this and failed with Games of Windows Live. Apple has a strong service with the iTunes store, but they wont garner any attention from major publishers or gamers.

Only competitor to Steam is Impulse which is another joke of a service.

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

That's what always gets me when people take shots at Valve.  I've yet to see a developer that was even remotley as good to it's community as Valve.

Valve is what people who play videogames should WISH other companies looked and acted like. 

Valve is basically a huge group of gamers and modders and thats why i support them, they actually care what the community says unlike other devs.
