If its true then its actually quite funny how Square enix can make exclusive games for 360 and not for ps3. The worst part would be that who knows if they release it anytime soon, guess it will take another 2-3 years lol.

This almost does not make sense tho.

I can easily understand doing the Mainline FF game as Multiplat. There was almost no doubt it would sell well on BOTH consoles (and it did). But to do this for "non" Mainline FF title (I will not call it a Spin-off) just does not make sense. This game will not sell like FF XIII.

FF XIV should be multiplat, not this one. Oh well, I hope for the best for S-E, still love 'em. (Good chance it will stay exclusive in Japan tho)

lol @ all Sony Fanboys bleeding about this announcement! So yea, like someone else said before.... if this becomes official does that mean that FXIII Versus is no longer the holy grail of this series as said previously?!?! ;)

I think the chances of FFvXIII remaining exclusive are slim.

So the PS3 couldn't have made up for the 360 sales?

MGS4 did just fine making on PS3 & outsold MGS3.

And I would guess that it would have sold more if it had been multiplat.

I don't know why S-E does what it does, it seems to have an awfully lot of lovin' for the 360 this generation with exclusives and PS3 exclusives going multiplat, but I would guess they are moving for the money now, as we haven't really seen any HD exclusives from them lately.

At this point SE has shown that they want to expand into the west market more on the xbox360 over the ps3, and nothing wrong with that I say more power too them at SE. 

The fact that SE has made more Exclusives for the xbox360 this generation than the PS3 tell's the story more so than some gamer's wishing for SE to stick with one company over the view of some misplaced loyalty. The fact that SE is looking out for their best interest's in North America is a good thing for their bottom line.Though I do think SE is leaving some money on the table though quite a bit that is.

I can see some gamer's "mainly being PS3 only gamer's" upset by this but SE's history speak's for itself, they go where the Money is. right now SE's best expansion into the western market IE: in this reguard I am talking about mainly North America is on the xbox360, though I think the Wii should also be a focus also Along with the PS3. Though While I do see SE trying to expand their market as a good thing , but leaving less exclusives on the table to be put on other game console's in this generation is a big mistake In my opinion. Esp. for 3rd parties.

I think the real issue is SE stated from the start they were going to be more even across the board on releases on the game console's this generation, but so far that has not been the case at all. that may change but it sure does not look like it will.

Yup they are doing it for money no doubts and as they are a company we can't criticize them doing it jsut for the money. But when they make promises & break them, that I have a issue with. I couldn't care less if versus went multiplat, FFXIII did and its one of my favorites in the series.

BUT when they say it WILL NOT go multiplat then they should keep it that way.
