The shooter outlegged everything. Didn't see that coming.

Tell that to any Call of Duty or Halo game this gen (or infact nerf N-strike, which I believe is the game with the highest ratio of total sales:first week sales ever). Shooters may not have legs comparable to Something like Wii Fit, but compared to RPGs and an action adventure with no multiplayer component, a multiplayer shooter will always have better legs

I thought he was being sarcastic?

FFXIII sales here in the US proves that there needs to be a Western created FF with a team that can make good RPGs such as Bioware. 'Nuff said

Err...no. Bioware isn't goood at making RPGs with other people's properties. Case in point: Sonic's RPG.

I'm not suprised at BC2. Online shooters have long legs due to replayability.

How about games like KOTOR (using the Star Wars license) or Baldur's Gate 1&2 (using the D&D license). I don't know about you, but I'd say those are pretty good games.

KOTOR was based on D&D so they really didn't have to make a whole new system to work with that. Baldur's gate as well.

Ok, once again, I'm not necessarily saying that I want a FF that is just a replica of most Western RPGs. I just want a FF that has a cast of characters and a storyline that actually shows maturity instead of the typical story with emo kids that all they do is bitch and complain yet somehow they're badass at saving the world. Look at Mass Effect. Their characters are 10 times more realistic than the ones in FF XIII. They can use the same old system of fighting and grinding from all other FFs.

Probably a stealth adjustment, like NPD always do.

Look at the totals, and they are about the same for VGC and NPD over the 2 Month.

given the situation in ff 13 didnt they have the right to complain and no one was emo except hope and he snapped out of that midway threw. Also i never really liked mass effects characters they were boring.
