No.
I'm not willing to buy consoles were high failure rates, mandatory installs, constant updates and patches and paying for new skins and horses are acceptable.
Pixel Art can be fun.

If Nintendo stops with games, so do I. Seriously, a dip in sales for once doesn't automatically mean they should just give up. Look at Sony. The PS3 sucked when it first came out, but did they give up? Hell no, and neither will Nintendo. Besides, they are still selling way more than everyone else. The DS is set to be the highest selling video game console/handheld of all time. As for your motion control remark, it's probably not going to affect Nintendo that much. Move looks to do about the same thing as the Wii, with party games and some hardcore games. And Natal has too many promises that I believe won't happen. And just wait and see what comes after the Wii. I'm sure it will be another big innovation that will take the world by storm.
All in all, Nintendo will never get out of the gaming business, and I'm sure that thought has never, ever crossed their mind.
This thread kinda reminds me of a certain podcast I watched a few days ago.
They pretty much said Nintendo is irrelevant because they don't have a Modern Warfare 2 or Halo on their platform.
I felt like laughing and crying at the same time.

I see a long shaft coming from below some guy with both his arms pointing downwards towards it. Other than a huge wooden penis. I can't make it out to be anything else. |

I think you would like the game. Probably my favorite SRPG this gen.
(that's Micaiah from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn)

I'd recommend you play Path of Radiance first but that's going to be harder to find.

+ 13-year-old (and 2-Gens-old) controllers... :/
Hmm... I think your basic premise false. You seem to think that after launching their two most successful systems that completely dominate both markets that they compete in, Nintendo is in a terrible position and should exit the hardware market. I'm not quite sure how you drew that conclusion from the facts at hand.
