It's simple people... PSP is dead in America and Xbox is dead in Japan.

Btw, we should compare PSP with DS. If not... people will have to accept the PS3 is in 5th place in the console race... and that might be to hard on them, 3rd place is already very tough for them to handle.

Dead, but not yet buried. Both can still be "revived" somehow.

Natal for the 360.

Pricecuts, big games and revisions for PSP.

I agree. Especially the PSP hardware numbers in the west (increasing significantly software numbers may be a thing a little (maybe a lot) tougher to do). But a price cut will make a big effect in those numbers (HW).

But Xbox reviving in japan... I highly doubt it. Not with Natal, not with Monster Hunter not with anything.

It's a longshot but... It could still happen.

Seriously, who is buying PS2 these days?

I think it's funny how the Xbox360 is kind of competing with the PS2 in two territories.

Anyone who wants to play ps2 games? I can only assume that most are bought as replacements for broken consoles.

I used to see PS2 in shops back in 2007 but now you can prbly get it online. What is that place?

PS3 is the most expensive console but sells nice. It seems that customers check few things before they make their pourchase.

You have to remember that not all the world earns as much money as Europe and North America do.

For example the average income in my country is only 300 dollars a month. For the mayority of the people in my country, the PS2 is a viable console that has great games, can play pirated games, and is possible to buy. As much as they would like to buy any of the other ones, they are still too expensive to afford.
