There is something really lame among the education that provide some parents. Lies like that should never happen.

Could it be that our kids are too sexed up and don't understand the gravity of such things? Kids having sex are getting younger and younger. If it continues, kids that have no idea what it is will continue to pop up and do these kinds of things.

I mean, what 8 year old girl should know what rape is, enough to lie to a parent about it to get candy!?

Oh, I agree that its the parents fault. I would ask them why they weren't there to turn the TV off, unplug the internet, or supervise her time with friends to make sure she wasn't learning about rape at such a young age.

Parents just simply don't give a rats behind about their kids. America is really bad about that...There is usually a huge correlation between stable families and parental supervision, and the overall positive behavior of their kids. My county is a great example of it. Test scores are horrible in the one area where parents just throw their kids on a bus, and don't make them accountable (nor the schools) for performance.

Also, I like at the end of that article where the journalist wrote that the girl directed a video operator around her estate using virtual reality... How, er, pointless is that?

well, they should know what sex is at that age, but wtf are they doin rapin and and desiring to do that at 10 years old...thats just a little wierd...
