The ending of FFX was the BEST IN VIDEOGAMING HISTORY!

Or tied with MGS3's ending.

I felt really sad, felt bad for yuna, the last cut scene was so epic & yuna's speech was inspirational!

It was the end of a classic game!!!

Bah, the ending was horrid.

Probably because I hate Yuna.

yeah thats the reason. But at the time it had a big impact!

ITs the best FF ending imo

Final Fantasy 9 was.

Although that game was the best in everything.

Excluding story.

incredible how our taste is so similar :P

Anyway, FFX was my first, and when I played it it was probably my favorite game of all time.

But, as time went by, I found out that looking back, objectively, it wasn't that good, though it still has a very special place in my heart :P

Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.

I always enjoyed 8 more than 7, by a lot... I like a 8 a lot more than you though :D and it was my first Final fantasy :D

hmm I'm going to be in japan for 1.5 months, I think I'm going to get FFXIII the japanese one cause I hear it's cheap. And then I'll try to play through it maybe :D

i thk evry1 likes their first FF th most or near th top. bt still I like 7, 8 & 13 equally as th best.

@darthdevdem01

U played FF8 in th wrong way, the trick ws to draw magic, junction & exprment. Jst using GF's isnt fun, thts why u didnt like its gameplay. Its ur fault not FF8's if u didnt play it properly.

Well, my first FF was X (I played 10 -> 7 -> 4 -> 5 -> 6 -> 8 -> 9 -> 13) and my favorite is 9 :P

Before coming here I thought FF9 was the least popular & was regarded one of the worst ones, amongst people I know at school & elsewhere anyway. But after coming to VGChartz I saw this FF9 love like everywhere on here.

If it allowed me to play like that I didn't play it the "wrong way", if I was playing it wrong it would have been impossible to get through, maybe not in the most advantageous way. The game never forced me to play it the "right way" apart from possibly a few boss battles, but thats all. I see that as a flaw in the game, you don't..fine.

FF9 was pretty good. It had that classical touch that was missing from quite a few previous FFs, plus it had a good story and fun characters. If the battle system had been touched up and not so slowish, it would have been a contender for my Top 3 FFs of all time.

Its still ur fault not the games. If u do bad at school its ur fault for not studying, nt the exams fault for being too hard or not "pushng u enuf". U cnt say ff8 has the worst gameplay in th series if u dnt see its full potential, u are a gamer u shud strive to see tht potential.

The battle animations take about as long to occur as FF8, but that game was really fast paced.

It's mostly likely due to the fact there are four characters, and about four things take place before your character does something.

And you know the battle speed can be changed? Increase it in Config. Although I loved the slower pace, I think it was needed due to the fact the battle animations were long and there were four characters.
