I hope they do, but ONLY if they improve NWC and make it comporable to XBL

it would be nice to see it upgraded drastically, for those who think people don't play online much with their wii's, or think there are not many games, I regularly play:

TvsC
Mario kart
COD:W@W
COD:MWRE
Texas Hold'em Poker
GH:WT
Dr Mario
excitebots
and Tetris Party

online. True there needs to be more games overall that have online, alot of these board game compilations, game shoe games, and others like it would benefit by all having online, but there are still a decent amount of titles in the online wii library. If the service was better, I would enjoy playing with friends easier and more often.

The only things I'd change with Nintendo WFC is:

-No Friend codes or only ONE friend code for all titles
-Better matchmaking servers or maybe add a dedicated server or two
-Better support for voice chat. Perhaps a bluetooth headset out of the box.

That's it. I'm happy with everything else. The service only needs to be on par with PSN.

Yeah, like people would pay money just so they could have access to the Nintendo and Wii Shop channels, and play all three online mp games that are actually worth playing online (Kart, Conduit and MH Tri).

Nintendo would have to offer an online service vastly superior to that of either XBL or PSN, and that's not happening unless they were to partner up with some other company, 'cause they sure as hell aren't gonna do it themselves.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

This gen? No.

Next gen? Yes.

Maybe they're planning this because Zelda Wii might have online.

The next gen starts when Zelda Wii and 3DS come out.

I really hope they don't go this route. For as little as I play online multiplayer, I could never justify paying for it. At the same time, I'm sure I would miss having that option available to me.
