Kirby fans will be pleased to learn that the pink blob is set to make his Wii debut proper in a new game.

Hoshi No Kirby (Kirby Of The Stars) is listed on Nintendo's latest release schedule at the end of the company's latest Financial Results Briefing document.

Kirby is one of a few of Nintendo's main stars that has yet to appear in his own Wii game. He featured in Super Smash Bros. Brawl but the last time he played the lead role on a home console was in 2004 racing game Kirby's Air Ride.

You have to go back to 2001 for his last appearance in an adventure game - Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards.

Yeah, I've heard this story before.

Not getting my hopes up until it's actually confirmed by the developers themselves.

Yes it was and many believe it is the same Kirby announced for the GameCube. The game has been delayed so much its not even worth mentioning untill Nintendo shows it at E3.

Ahh so he could be lying, not trustworthy unless it comes from Nintendo themselfs then? I doubt this is the big exclusive they were talking about.

Kirby of the Stars... didn't the nintendo power teaser for next month with the big announcement had this picture of a galaxy... >_>

Until I see a playable demo at E3, I don't care. They showed video of a new Kirby GCN game at E3 2005. That was 5 years ago. Kirby is dead to me.
