Miami NEEDS to keep Wade. His talent will attract other players and he is one of the best in the game. But, if they did get Lebron or someone like that who is a huge ball hog that wouldn't work. Wade/ Lebron would be fighting over the ball. You need to get a good big man or two like Boozer/ Bosh or someone. I don't think Staudimire would be a good fit either. It will be interesting to see what they do in the next few years. They are only a few players away from being great again.

Nintendo still doomed?

Boston dominating the Cavs and sheed has 17 so far. Good way to quiet those nay-Sayers Sheed. Man I miss that guy.

I was glad to Sheed show up.  I love that guy ever since he was at Portland.  I was bad mouthing him all season too.

Wade needs another ring, he is in my opinion the best player in the NBA right now.. his team is just eh..

If the cavs lose to the celtics they better drop lebrone into the heat, wade needs good team mates. A one man team will never do anything

Meh, it'd be more likely Wade would go to Cleveland in a sign and trade.  Heat management doesn't have the same commitment to spend to win... and are full of well... busts.

Honestly, i'd bet on Wade going back home to Chicago... big money + going back home + getting to play with Joakim and Rose who can't leave until 2012?  Not too shabby.

they are signing him on a $120 million dollar contract

That's how a sign and trade works.  If Wade, Lebron and Bosh move, chances are they'll sign a contract with their home teams first.

A dynasty is never centered around one player.....you need a solid starting line-up and role players who do their roles well.

You cant create a team like that when you literally kill your salary for one player.

Look....im not saying that Miami wont sign D.wade but really unless The Heat organization shows Wade that they can get quality players, then it wont matter how much money Miami throws at wade to make him stay.

Wade is at a point where he is trying to win a championship as are all the 2003 nba draft franchise players.......the money will always be there for them but if championship potential isnt then they will leave without a second thought.

No reason not to... it took 85 games for him to have a good game.

I took a break from watching pro B-ball for about 5 years and I recently started watching it again and I must say I can't watch it anymore. What the hell happened to the game, every little thing is a foul now, if you give the guy with the ball a bad look its a foul, more than half of the time I'm watching a guy shoot some free throws.

Wow, this was a really bad day for me. LOL. BOTH of my teams were beaten. I think Cavs actually underestimated Boston and they paid dearly for it. Now they are in quite the difficult situation. Honestly someone needs to punch Lebron in the face and tell him to stop jacking up 3's when a defender is right there in his face. I mean honestly what the hell was that?

So whose the best player in the playoffs now? Kobe or LeBron?

In the playoffs?  I think it's hard to say.  I mean heck, Kobe's been injured... and well more injured for a while.

On the other hand though, Kobe has ALWAYS had better help, and also only makes a lot of game winning shots because they have to take a lot of game winning shots.

His percentage of making game winning shos isn't really that impressive.

If you asked me to bet my life on it.  I'd take Lebron James any day of the week... because i'd atleast know he was going to give a crap that day.

10 years from now, i think Kobe will be excluded from the "best" lists because of his attidue.  Michael Jordan didn't take games off, let alone plays.  Bill Russel didn't take games off, Magic didn't take games off  Lebron doesn't take games off.

Wilt Chamberlin DID take games off... which is why despite his amazing 100+ point game nobody puts him as one of the best.  He'll still be one of the greatest players... but he won't fit into the pantheon of THE greatest player arguement.

Of course, i'm weird in that I'm one of those people that sees Magic Johnson as the greatest player ever, not Jordan, because Magic was only a fraction worse then Jordan and could play all 5 positions.

Whose your favourite of all-time? I'm guessing Magic? For me it's Shaq Diesel, back in 1992-2006, then again in 2008 he was just so dominate. Hell he's still a top 10 Center in this league and the only person who seems to be able to guard him efficently is Dwight Howard.

Magic is up there.. I might have to go with Shaq myself though.

He's oddly underrated.  I don't see why so many people have Kobe higher then him.  Shaq was unreal during his prime.  If you had the choice between Shaq in his prime, and Kobe in his... you'd take Shaq any day of the week.

People make the arguement because he that good because of his size... which, it's true a lot of his success is due to his size... but if we are getting rid of Size as far as talent is concerned.  Earl Boykins is probably the greatest of all time... him or Spud Webb.  I mean they're the only guys who could play in the NBA at "average" heights.

It kind of disturbes me how people just seem to have forgotten how dominant Shaq was. Hell I remember his 1999-2001 season where he was just unstoppable. It really disturbed me when TNT had their player of the decade award and Kobe was the runaway winner, followed by LEBRON? Shaq, KG and THEN DUNCAN? This Kobe and Lebron hype is ridiculous....
