It seems some people have no eyesite. To help those who have no idea. Here.

It won't win GOTY. It looks like a great game and I have no doubt it will be a great game, but there are far too many good contenders. Starcraft 2, Gran Turismo 5 perhaps, Halo Reach...and the most likely game to win GoTY as of right now is Mass Effect 2 and God of War 3.

Red Dead Redemption comes out the same day as Alan Wake and I feel like RDR will have both a better metascore and better advertisment which might have an effect on Alan Wake's sales.

There's too many GOTY contenders so far and I think God of War 3 and Alan Wake will be forgotten by the end of the year.

Yeah, I could continue on, but I think you've been owned more than enough already.

The guage for GOTY is IAA. Interactive Achievement Award. It is also the only award recognised by Wiki. Halo 2 had 84 GOTY nominations from outside media hence winning the title. as well as winning Excellence in Audio at the Game Developers Choice Awards. All 2005.

Love the way you used review media or spike lol for GOTY. Little point. Games like Half Life 2 or Halo have IAA awards. Not media awards. Have you ever watched Spike. It's laughable. Heck they gave GTA4 GOTY. How bad was that event. Unbearable.

The trailer looks good. It's too bad they canceled the pc version. I would have loved to have seen what the graphics could have been like using a modern video card.

GOTY...Just like Metro 2033, Mass Effect 2, Splinter Cell Conviction, Halo: ODST, Forza 3, bla bla bla.

Selnor, please, please, all you need to do is being OBJECTIVE, when you've a year with games like

Mass Effect 2
Red Dead Redemption

Heavy Rain
Call Of Duty
Etc.
Etc.
Etc.

there's NO WAY POSSIBLE that someone can tell which game will be GOTY, if you want to call ANY 360 Console Exclusive out there GOTY, fine, but please, PLEASE! WE DON'T CARE ABOUT IT! You just create FLAMEWARS FOR GODSAKE!

thats the point. Lair looked amazing from all the trailers and then ended up sucking. But since this is already reviewing pretty high I don't think it will end up being bad. I personally think MG2 will win GOTY, with mass effect 2 as runner up. Although my GOTY will probably end up being halo reach with god of war 3 runner up.

Next time you make a thread, don't put opinions in the title or OP. Leave them for a post somewhere in the thread.

You might not get as much abuse, and it might make your threads a happier place to be
