What do you mean by "will become the next Red Steel2"? Do you mean in terms of superiority to the prequel(not that RS2 had to try hard to obtain that goal)? If so, I'd of course welcome that. I don't want this game to be short, or just showing what the wii can do. RS2 was fun, but in some respects it felt like a glorified M+ demo.

Yes, i mean in terms of vastly improving a mediocre experience, Red steel 1 was "meh" also and with quirky and painfully awful controls. The single player experience in RS2 was an improvement over the first one and it accomplished the promise of real swordfigthing in the Wii.

The conduit 1 was an ok game, it was decent, but it also felt like a HVS "tech demo" of their Quantum 3 engine, this shoul be The real deal, the only problem i have with Conduit 2 (and what give me a cheap feeling all over it) is that when this thing see the day of light it will have less od ONE AND A HALF YEAR OF DEVELOPMENT :/.

Seriously, a great game can be created in that short period of time?... :/

dont get me wrong, im still gonna buy it, but i have a bad feeling about the quality of it.

True, the development time is concerning. I'm wondering if any gems as of late have  succeeded on that little of time.  It is a sequel though, so
the story, artistic style, gameplay, etc is already one step above a new game. Your concern is legit though, and we shall see.

This is also a concern for me too, but I understand that they probably want to release it right before the holiday season is in full swing to maximize sales potential.

I think with assets already established from The Conduit 1, dev time would quicken up a bit for the sequel. If Conduit 2 releases in October, I would think 14 months of dev time is low, but sufficient. As a company they are used to working under deadlines, but it usually comes at the cost of polish and gameplay expansion. However, they knew immediately what was wrong with TC1 when reviews and player reactions were made known after its release, so they knew what to build on immediately.

This will definitely make most gamers watch this game with scrutiny O_o

I definitely got my money's worth from The Conduit but it left a lot to be desired.

For me Split-screen is reason enough, assuming the game is otherwise solid for getting this. I'm more likely to play with my son or friend inhouse than online.

With split-screen this game should do better. I know it has me excited. The only games I buy full price are Nintendo games though. Those never drop in price.

PC - Borderlands 2 (2012)

With The Conduit 2 maybe will hapens the same that with Red Steel 2... people not totally satisfied with first part will think very much if buy or not the sequel.. and obviously not will buy at day one... but i'll probably do

My daddy ain't never bought no "Conduit" game.
His daddy ain't never bought no "Conduit" game.
My daddy's daddy's daddy ain't never bought no "Conduit" game.
It's a Lewis family tradition of not buying "Conduit" games, dagnabbit!

But it does look kinda cool. I may buy it.

If their improvements to online are up to snuff, day one. The online play of the original was highly addicting despite its flaws. Remove those flaws and add more variety and we could be in for a treat.

lets wait and see :D, i just dont like 2 things about it

HVS is working in The Grinder for wii (fps), and for xbox360/ps3 (top down shooter); Tournament of Legends, Iron Man 2 Game for Wii, Animales de la muerte....

thats a lot! the Development time should be splited between them (specially Tournament of Legends and Iron Man 2 that are coming out soon)

Also, this guys kept me excited when they talk about the Conduit, every interview make it sound like it was the second coming to the Wii, but it was just an illussion, IDK if this will happen again.

And also also, im intrigued by this guys saying that they are going all for it in the Art department... maybe they are focusing to much? what if the game looks beatiful, but the actual levels (biggers and with multiple paths) are just as boring as in the last games, with no real original objectives besides going from point A to point B blasting everything you see,  deactivating the awful phantom bombs, finding switches for opening a door with the ASE? ....  thats was basically all of the Conduit 1 features.... :/, ih and also i want destructible enviroments :D, i want to freaking shot a chair with a rocket launcher and that te thing goes flying throw the sky ;D

probably not! I didn't buy the Conduit when it was on sale for $12 a few months back, so I probably won't be getting the sequel.

Yes, but not in the first day
