What do you mean by "will become the next Red Steel2"? Do you mean in terms of superiority to the prequel(not that RS2 had to try hard to obtain that goal)? If so, I'd of course welcome that. I don't want this game to be short, or just showing what the wii can do. RS2 was fun, but in some respects it felt like a glorified M+ demo.

Yes, i mean in terms of vastly improving a mediocre experience, Red steel 1 was "meh" also and with quirky and painfully awful controls. The single player experience in RS2 was an improvement over the first one and it accomplished the promise of real swordfigthing in the Wii.

The conduit 1 was an ok game, it was decent, but it also felt like a HVS "tech demo" of their Quantum 3 engine, this shoul be The real deal, the only problem i have with Conduit 2 (and what give me a cheap feeling all over it) is that when this thing see the day of light it will have less od ONE AND A HALF YEAR OF DEVELOPMENT :/.

Seriously, a great game can be created in that short period of time?... :/

dont get me wrong, im still gonna buy it, but i have a bad feeling about the quality of it.

True, the development time is concerning. I'm wondering if any gems as of late have  succeeded on that little of time.  It is a sequel though, so
the story, artistic style, gameplay, etc is already one step above a new game. Your concern is legit though, and we shall see.

This is also a concern for me too, but I understand that they probably want to release it right before the holiday season is in full swing to maximize sales potential.

I think with assets already established from The Conduit 1, dev time would quicken up a bit for the sequel. If Conduit 2 releases in October, I would think 14 months of dev time is low, but sufficient. As a company they are used to working under deadlines, but it usually comes at the cost of polish and gameplay expansion. However, they knew immediately what was wrong with TC1 when reviews and player reactions were made known after its release, so they knew what to build on immediately.

This will definitely make most gamers watch this game with scrutiny O_o
