Twenty million is possible. Nintendo just have to produce twenty million to make that happen.

Nope, unlikely.

"by 2008" meaning beginning or end of 2008? I think that would make it either a no or a yes.

Only if they ship that many by the end of 07, which they wont.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Honestly where I live we did have surplus for months of all consoles now however you are stretched to find either a Wii or a 360 for that matter. The only console in abundant supply is the PS3. That said I think the back stock in North America of the more popular consoles is being depleted at an alarming rate.

I think over the past month the surplus of both Microsoft and Nintendo has taken a tremendous hit, and we are now to a point of production being the only relevant number in the equation. Can Nintendo produce that many units in this short a time. I doubt it greatly, and neither had any reason to horde supply a sale is a sale. Only retailers have a reason to hold off on supply.

By the way supposedly this Friday there is supposed to be a large supply of Wiis and 360s hitting stores. So if your in the market for one that would be the best time to go shopping if you have had trouble finding either.

14.43 million Wii consoles have currently been sold. Do you really think that the same number of Wii consoles to sell before 2008 will match the same number of current Playstation 3 consoles sold, at around 6 million? 2008 is around one month away. There is absolutely no way that it can achieve this. That's about 1/3rd the total amount of Wii consoles currently sold. It might sell 15 million, but not 20 million.

what are you saying,it will definitely pass 15 million

Well it doesnt look like it. If there was some huge surplus in store rooms they would be out now. Nintendo announced today last week they sold 350K and they expect to break that the week before Christmas. That tells me they will have 3 weeks of no more thant 349K in the US and 1 week above that. I expect they have one more very large shipment that will arrive in NA about 1 week before Christmas. That would be about 1.5 million more in the US and about 150K more in Canada. Add that to the current 15 million and you get 16.5 million. Europe and Japan arent going to bring the total to 20 million.

Libraries sell systems not individual games

Actually, the sales record is 600k and that they expected to beat that the week before Christmas. 350k is not the record.

that flies in the face of everything normal irrespective of supply, next weeks USA might be lower than this week, however the weeks after will get bigger until the last week before christmas, after which they drop.

Lets see. 1.8 + watever it has (4.7)

17 MILLION.
