There are no stock issues for any console currently - everything is in plentiful supply...

But. . . what about my 45 seconds of interwebz research and wild speculation being passed off as analysis?!?!

This seems rather definitive actually. Thanks ioi!

so SONY and online retailers are lying?

Then why is amazon/gamestop having supply issues at the moment?

it is in stock on amazon.com

anyway ioi has said it isnt constrained.

it is NOT in stock in amazon, it is in stock at a 3rd party retailer who sells refurbished playstation 3's for $369.99

and SONY AND NPD have said it is supply constrained, so who do I believe? Retailers also have very limited if not no stock online and locally, so again who do I believe?

Amazon says they are in stock. I don't know, why would ioi lie?

With this and Others, PS3 Software > X360 Software even without Japan.

You're new here, so I won't put a MASTER OF THE OBVIOUS picture here! :)

But, that thing you said it's not uncommom at all, especially in the past 6 months.

You are accusing IOI of lying that is pretty serious.

@CommonMan

Not going to argue about whether or not ioi is correct, but you kinda just disproved yourself. You see how your post of Amazon says "Ships and Sold by Worldwide Distributors." That's not Amazon, that's a 3rd party selling through Amazon.

Leo-j please tell me you are joking about the reporting thing.

anyway I still don't know why people are worried about PSP sales.

Reported for not being worried about PSP sales.

superb.

The mutually beneficialy symbiotic range calculation formula advises me to report you for not using capital letters!

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

but amazon is not the whole market!
Maybe they just under ordered, who knows!

Since pretty much everyone else have ps3s on stock, that's the most plausible explanation.

Ah, I didn't know that, I thought if it was there they were Amazon's machines. Well that clears that up. Thanks!

Hmm. . . well, I'm still not going to call ioi a liar.
