the cost of development hasn't gone down and everbody keeps talking about wgen this gen will end. i think thats one reason the big three and big publishers arn't looking to end this gen anytime soon. everybody here knows that so far it's taken big budgets (between 40-100m dollars) to make great games. so lets not look to end this gen so soon.

Cause 8th gen games will come with more polygons per square inch than ever before.
I reckon most newer console gamers will gladly do so. They already let game companies run all over them with crap like day 1 dlc and overpriced map packs.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Buying new games is getting cheaper ? sweet.
I would love to since I already pay 100$ per game.

30-40 more than I pay now for most of games this Gen? No, thanks I would have to only buy Nintendo made games to ensure I actually got great quality and I would never buy the more niche games because I would be to afraid of the risk.
