I meant it from a wholesale point of view, I am not too crazy about buying standalone OS packages.

 

Edit: Oh, I just meant a new PC that comes with XP. It's a typo, I wasn't paying a lot of attention since I just get Contra 4 and want to try it. 



I am a PC gamer, and also have a NDS now, but without access to a Nintendo Wii until End of 2007.

Most likely a PS3. That said, I am fairly happy with the lineup for the wii to keep me entertained for another year, that it's highly unlikely until maybe December of 2008, and by then there might be enough currently unannounced wii exclusives to keep me from being interested in the ps3.

Neither. I still don't have a "complete" Wii system with all the bells and whistles:

2 extra Wii-motes
3 extra Nunchuks
1 guitar (for GH3)
Wi-Fi USB connector
1 GB SD card (512 MB ain't enough)
couple of Wii points cards

plus all the games I want for Wii:

Mario Galaxy
Smash Brawl
No More Heroes


and maybe an extra Zapper just for good measure.

Huh, tough question for me actually...

I'm not sure if I know enough about the libraries of the other two consoles because one console per generation really is enough for me. Anyways, the 360 probably has a small lead at the moment and if Banjo-Kazooie turns out great then it is clear for me.
Backwards compatibility is a big plus for the PS3 because I did not own a PS2 and the PS2 wins easily against the 360. But in terms of games there aren't too many that I'm interested in, maybe Motorstorm and Ratched and Clank amongst the ones that are out and Asassin's Creed looks pretty interesting too, but I could get this one also with a 360.

Seeing that more and more japanese series go multiplat or exclusive to the Wii or the DS, the question of a second console is further away from me than ever, though.

Were I to get a second console, It would be a toss up between the PS2's great price and huge list of games, or the 360 for some amazing new games (seriously, Mass Effect is my most wanted game of this gen). Which isn't to say I wouldn't be thrilled to get a PS3, it's just that that's not as high as the other two on my list.



I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do. 

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.
