There is a hierarchy amongst video game characters powers. Action game characters like Kratos, Dante, Ryu etc. are at the top. A character like Link would be mid level at best. I mean Link is a mortal with a sword an shield, Kratos is a demigod with ten foot long blades that would rip apart link with one swing, and he has the physical strength to match the titan Kronos.

They would win via Seal Clubbing Clubs and Hockey Sticks.

Yep, I have played GoW3 (in my games tab) but I will still give Link a shot (albeit a long one).  Just for sport Ill drop the ratio in favor of Kratos to 9999999999/10000000000.  What can I say, I always like to give the underdog atleast a shot.

The sages wouldn't do a damn thing to Kratos. I bet 1 Centaur, Siren, Cyclops, Medusa, Sytar, Minotaur, Cerberus would take on all of them. Kratos takes on 4 - 5 of those at once... in one wave.

The armor part about link is moot, Kratos could just keep hitting him at range, granted Link could use a bow or boomerang, but really, what does more damage, sharp knives on chains or a boomerang/arrow?

And pardon my ignorance, haven't played any console link games since the SNES days, but can he still only shoot left, right, down or up? If so, it is an easy win for Kratos, just stand NE, NW, SW or SE from him lol!

If Link can't take any damage with that armor... that doesn't mean he can't be turned into stone, right?
Besides... even if, hypothetically, Link killed Kratos... Kratos would just come back from the underworld so killing him would be useless, right?

Um.... It depends on which Link. Link from the 2-D Zelda games? Hell no. Link from Wind Waker, about 50/50. Link from Twilight Princess and Link from OoT? He would wreck Kratos's shit.

As for the "Kratos has killed gods" theroy, he has killed Greek gods. We must take into account the fact thta Greek Gods can be killed, whereas other deities are different. No one can kill the Christian God, as their religion says so. We must assume that, since this is a crossover, the rules from both universes apply. Link could also kill the Greek gods (in theroy) because their laws allow it to be so. The gods of Hyrule, however, cannot be killed. Therefore, Kratos couldn't kill a Hylian god.

We also seem to be forgetting that, if Link had access to the Triforce, he would be granted any wish he wanted. This includes Kratos's death.

We must also consider the fact that Link was chosen specifically by the Gods. He is the "Chosen One", if you will.

Also, the reappearing of him in every Zelda game is proof that, if killed, he would simply reincarnate in 100 years or so.

You know Op, I'm glad you think one fictional character can rip apart another fictional character, it's always good to have an active imagination. Now time for a little reality, long after Kratos has gone the way of Crash Bandicoot, Gabe Logan (you know, the Kmart version of Solid Snake. I know, I barely remember him either) and the Mortal Kombat series, Link will still be trucking along selling millions and garnering critical acclaim.

Sorry but link would be eaten by Kronos. He would be no better than Achilles.
