HAHAH... i feel for your knees... i've had to get mine reconstructed twice, but yeah totally... Wii is awesome.. i love it... i especially like some of the old games i can download for it.

We of course have known this for a few months now, but if the last 2 weeks are any indication I think the demand is going to be a lot higher than I was expecting. Unfortunately it probably won't matter much because there won't be enough consoles for what I was expecting.


 i honestly think this x'mas is gonna be the last x'mas where the wii sells as ridiculously good as it is right now.  so enjoy these whopping numbers while they last, because i think by this time next year wii would be selling at more "reasonable" levels.

 i'm saying this largely because of what we observed in japan--at some point the demand just has to saturate.   we just haven't reached that point in the US yet, and i'm estimating that this x'mas nintendo will have done a good job satisfying that demand, essentially demand of an extended launch.

 don't flame me!  just speaking my mind. 

 obviously we don't know what nintendo has up its sleaves for 2008, but i do know that there will never be something as revolutionary and as much fun as WiiSports.  so, i anticipate that after Wii demand is saturated in the US after holiday 2007, holiday 2008 the Wii won't sell at this ridiculous rate.


Are more reasonable levels the same levels as the PS2 used to do, because that is what the Wii is doing in Japan...30k p/week at this time of the year is excellent in Japan.
