Forums - Nintendo - wii tv

hey guys,

this is my first post and thread. i have a nintendo wii, and was wondering whether a 20inch 16 yr old tube tv be sufficient to play the wii. if not, what are some good, cheap tvs?

I gotta wii and a psp.

size matters first with Wii I think, with ED being second. I would recommend at least a 32" or larger and preferably something capable of 480p with component video input.

32 sounds about right. I think the size of the tv is great for multiplayer affairs.. I have a 42" WS tv and its a blast to play on.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

I recommmed 32" Or bigger.

Well I have a 20" LCD HDTV (1080i) and its fine....No complaints aside, me and my friends play on it with no problems, especially Wii Sports 8)

I gotta wii and a psp.

Bigger the better.

Of course, the bigger, the better. But really, it doesn't matter. You can enjoy it fine on an old TV too. These kids here are spoiled technogeeks.

speaking of which, i never managed to find this out--i have a 3 year old 27' CRT, but i haven't got a clue about its resolution, as i googled the life out of it and still no info. what's the typical resolution on a 27' CRT?

the Wii is an epidemic.
