Oh yes, this had to be resurrected.

And you know EXACTLY the first game I played on it!

Out of curiosity what is with the hate for the camera?  I've heard that sentiment a lot but never understood it.  It worked fine for me.

I've been replaying this at work over the past two weeks.  I'm stuck on the final colossi, the same place I got stuck last time I beat the game.

How do I get from her right hand to her head?  I can never figure it out.

Oh, and I ended up tracking down ICO back in June. It's a great game. I'd say it comes in 11th on my favorite games of all time list, after the 3D console Zeldas, Okami, MGS 1-4, and, obviously, Shadow of the Colossus.

I want to say that you stand on top of her right hand, and shoot her left shoulder with an arrow, so that she reaches to touch it with you on her hand,. but it's been awhile since I've played the last boss, so I could be wrong. But I think that's how you do it.

I have ICO, gonna play through it after I've beaten SoTC on Hard.

Ah.  I was shooting her eyes.  It blinds her temporarily, and she flinches, but she never reaches for her head. 

I'll try that at work tonight, even though I should study.

Actually, I'll probably have no time for anything tonight, what with Fable II, etc. releasing today.  At least LBP didn't come out...for most people.  :P

It's been a while so I might be off, but I think the general rule is wherever you shoot her, she'll put her hand on the spot (edit: NVM, just shoot random parts and take note how it reacts, plan your path from there).

There are different ways of downing the bosses, actually. If you've already beat the game and you wanna see some badass stunts, check out the time attacks on youtube. They do some crazy shit - like run straight towards the final boss (while being shot at), and pulling some crazy jumps using the game physics... fun stuff.

Anyway, this is easily Sony's game best for me. While I partially regret paying for the PS3 (more stuff on the 360 I want atm), it'll all change as soon as Team Ico shows up. I'll always remember the fight with the first colossus, with no battle experience at all so my first thought was, "I'm supposed to fight that thing?"

I bought it for my PS3....played a bit but left it aside as I had so many games to play when I got the PS3.I will try to find time to play it.

To expound on that, stab the hand so that it will steady.  Although if you were shooting the eyes, I guess you figured that out.
