" What I have seen of Crysis 2 in Alpha Stages, Surpasses Killzone 2 " Says Richard Morgan
The sci-fi novelist hired by Crytek to pen Crysis 2 has allegedly slammed Killzone 2 Graphics - claiming " What I have seen of Crysis 2 in Alpha Stages, Surpasses Killzone 2 ".
Yeah, I can really hear the venom in his voice as he says this... he's really slamming Killzone 2, not just sharing an opinion based on what he's seen.
"I thought Modern Warfare 2 was an immense disappointment," and "Halo Is Bullshit". Halo has revolutionized console FPS and online scene. Both have record breaking sales and have huge fan bases. Crysis 2 will have to be one hell of a game to even match up to Halo Reach coming this Fall.
Well those quotes were taken out of context. What he actually said has nothing to do with what this article is talking about here. where Richard Morgan was speaking to HipHopGamer
So you haven't spoken to him yourselves, and you're going to quote from a less than reputable source.
unknown writer Richard Morgan
He's unknown now is he? He hasn't had any books out or won any Sci-Fi writing awards or anything, has he? I can't decide whether this is just ignorance or an attack on perfectly respectable writer. But Crytek really have not delivered a triple AAA game yet have they now? With Crysis only on 91% Metacritic ( Halo + MW2 Scoring higher ) and Crysis Warhead and Far Cry below 90% Metacritic with remarks such as the horrible scraps of miserable story and melodramatic dialogue. Can this writer pull off a decent story for Crysis 2? One thing for sure his attitude better change or he will become on the wrong side of gamers and degrade the status of Crytek.
So 91% isn't AAA now? And getting 1 million sales barely a few months after release for a PC exclusive isn't AAA? Not to mention the fact that he had nothing to do with the first game and they brought him onboard because of the criticisms with the story of the first. And of course Metacritic is the only way to decide if a game is AAA *rolls eyes*. It's not his attitude that needs to change, it's the terrible standard of gaming journalism.
