Yeah, shock and horror.  Based on the latest trend of when you say that games bombed, the industry HAS to be domed, because Reach and GT5 have NO post-presales AT ALL.  Same with Gears 3 not doing this, or Agent, or that unnamed title that Lionhead is working on!

Here's the so called definition of "post pre-order": Post-preorder sales means sales after a game is released and available in stores.

That's kind of an oxymoron or a total contradiction.  The game is not released yet and therefore according to this "enlightened" definition" what is being said is totall ireelevant and to be honest, non-sensical. It's gollipy goop, it's just irrational. maybe you are trying to say that people have "set aside" the order and not paid any money. Maybe? Most people would put a deposit on a pre-order rather than pay the total up front. This probably has something to do with the simple fact that the price is not known yet regardless of the accepted recommended retail price of a new release.

 

Anyway. I think what you are saying is just a complete load of bollocks just a lame attempt at satire. Probably the latter.

Hey this level of illogic doesn't stop people posting that a game is a sales bomb after 2 or 3 weeks of sales.  Why get on my case about it?  And it is a systemic problem.  EVERY major upcoming title has the same amount of problems.  They have no post pre-order sales.  I tell you, we are DOMED!  Natal and Moved have also bombed to, as has the 3DS to.  It is HORRIBLE!
