Yeah, so, I'd made a thread on Specific Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 features, and, within 2 days or so, the thread had completely disappeared.... Everyone was always talking about how they wanted HD sprites (which we all know wont happen... even if hell froze over) And, other people were talking about using the old sprites from ages ago... and then, others wanted a 3D game..
So, in my Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 thread, I suggested it be similar to MvC2. 2D characters over top of invisible 3D characters. However, use pre-rendered 3D sprites, so, we get the same gameplay as 2D without sacrificing the look.. And then, for hypers, swap the 2D sprites for a 3D model, so we still get the dynamics of the SFIV hypers, and what-not.. Everyone wins... even capcom, because making 3D characters is faster than sprites..
....
So, my question is... Why would they remove it? Was I onto something? I also suggested being able to select 1, 2, or 3 characters, extended assist useage time (like TvC) and, another meter that's used for counter attacks, for defending against long combos. When you have more than one character, you can use the counter while being hit to swap characters, and the swapped character would simply block, if you were alone, and used it, you'd be put into an air-block state.
Original thread...
Do you think it was too close to how the actual MvC3 will be? Do you like what I've suggested? Please, no character requests.... That's not what this thread is about.
