I think a new Marvel vs Capcom could actually help the Marvel brand. Like Sonic the Hedgehog, people stop caring after so many shit games.
I think MvC2 was rereleased to remind consumers a good game featuring Marvel characters actually existed. And perhaps that's motivating the creation of MvC3.
