Nintendo also had a cab company and had prostitution hotels all across japan. Folding that part of the company up when they started with their cards. They also produced instant rice....
I knew quite alot of things, but there were a few things I didn't know.. and I stopped being a Nintendo fan after N64 left the market :P
either way Nintendo deserves major props for these financial stats
Currently playing: MAG, Heavy Rain, Infamous
Getting Plat trophies for: Heavy Rain, Infamous, RE5, Burnout and GOW collection once I get it.

The only thing which really matters is profit. Revenue, number of studios, product range etc are a means to the end which is profit and nothing more. |
In US dollars
Microsft = 255.75 billion dollars
Sony = 38.55 billion dollars
Nintendo = Unspecified but it's about, 125 billion dollars
in terms of what they sell, Nintendo is not all videogames. Nintendo owns everything Pokemon ( movies included, t-shirts, toys )
in terms of profit, as a company Microsfot has more Cash Flow than Sony is worth. well it's actually about 30 billion dollars of cash
but that can basically be called profit, which is why Microsoft is worth soo much
my signature went on strike, it's demanding 3% raise

The graph says % at the side, but % of what? Makes me feel stupid :P Btw it is funny that PSX and PS2 are skipped on the console comparison list. |
Why? They showed all of the Nintendo models and only current gen models in consoles and handhelds. Should they list sales for all consoles and handhelds ever released in the past?
Mario has a 27 foot vertical jump? Daaaaaamn.

This^^ Dont forget to mention Sony is also making tons of others electronic products, while Nintendo mostly makes video games related stuff |
Sony does make ALOT more but has 140000 employees compared to Nintendo's 4000, so profit to employees, Nintendo makes more and most of Sony's subsidaries are Japan only, like its Banks and Life insurance companies.

im thinking your right, just had a quick look at the sales VGC has for them all and given that there are 141 entries for Sonic and alot of them have sold over 1 million and some over 5 million then yes i think it would be more than 36 million, but im not sure what they have counted as a Sonic game, is it on Sega consoles only, does it include Mario and Sonic games, which have sold roughly 10 million+ on their own.
